We are leaving Alabama on Sunday morning. We have to leave Montgomery by about 4:00 am in order to get to Birmingham on time so I am not looking forward to the trip as much as I normally would. I really like flying, but as anyone who knows me can attest, I am not at all a morning person. I guess we are getting into Reno at about noon, which according to my math, means there will be quite a long layover somewhere. maybe I will knock out an entry from the airport.
It is official, we ARE moving to California. I have said for a long time that I do not want to live in California, and I still don't really, but this is a good career move for the wife and I will have a better chance at a job there than I would in Ashland. The good news is that the place that the wife will be working at is also the workplace of an old friend of ours and her husband . It will be nice to hang out with them again as it has been a while since we have seen them. (funnily enough, the first weekend here we received a call from them saying that they were in Ashland and wanted to meet up.)
A while ago, after the iphone 2.0 update was released, I installed several games on my phone and proceeded to ignore almost all of them. A couple of weeks ago I downloaded a new game that was previously offered for purchase but recently released in an ad-supported free version. This game has been the main cause of my many sleepless nights lately as I have become very addicted to it.

The game is called Word Warp, and its concept is beautifully simple, you are presented with six letters, in random order and you have 2 minutes (you can change the time limit, or remove it altogether if you are weak) to find all of the words that can be made from those letters. After time runs out, if you have gotten at least one of the six letter words (there is always at least one) you move on to the next level. In its native state, the word list is a bit lacking, (It doesn't recognize the words 'whore' or 'slut, I was not intentionally trying all of the salacious words I could find, those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head) but there is an alternate word list that I haven't tried yet. That one may have the dirty words in it, I will update this post if I find that it does.
Beware, however, once you start playing this game, you will begin to break down words you hear or see outside of the game. I will find myself looking up at the tv or at a sign and seeing a word like business and thinking to myself 'sis, nib, nibs, sine...' until I have to stop myself and concentrate on something else.
If you have an Iphone or Ipod touch, I suggest you give this game a try. if you don't, there are flash versions of anagram games all over the internet. it is a good way to waste time, but at least feel as if you are keeping your brain a little sharp.

For god's sake.....
......post something! Tell how things are going at work.....tell about the exciting new pair of underwear you bought, the shape and size of your last bowel movement...ANYTHING! It is sad when I keep checking back everyday before work only to see the same thing over and over and over and.....

Still nothing huh? Now Carl, I know that you can update this page from your phone! Haha no big, I really am not sitting around all day distraught that there is not any new news here. Anyway, my evaluation of Google Chrome is complete and I should be removing it from my computers soon. At this point, the only good part about it that I can find is the home screen where you can see little versions of your most visited sites. Otherwise, it is useless. I'll stick with Firefox or even IE seeing as how they are pretty much the same thing now anyway. I have been using firefox out of habit now so I don't think I will change it. I am not sure why Google tried to make a browser but I have an idea that it has something to do with trend tracking and marketing info (at least that's what their user agreement alludes to!) I have learned to field strip the nine and got it better lubed than a night alone with Clay Aikin and it is on its way to becoming my favorite gun. Ur gonna love it next time you come down. Hopefully by then I'll have taken that class and have the permit for it and the .45. They prob wont let me get it for the little .22 but I suppose I can deal with that.
Remember also that I have that dictionary can have for ur italian studies.
CMON!!!!!!!!!!! other people beside myself need to post in here! Carl's site is dying! (as is mine) is it possible that 2 blogs may not appeal to the masses? I doubt it! hahahaha After all, I just might be the next Matthew Drudge.....but without all the news.

Google Chrome
Just got google chrome and it sux. Things aren't coming up properly and the whole thing seems as though it was thrown together at the very last second to try to claim another market. (If there was actual R and D done for this then they should feel very ashamed f themselves). Just thought I'd let you know that if you were thinking of trying it then don't waste ur time. I'll keep it till the end of the day to see if it will surprise me but so far I much prefer Firefox.Forza e Coraggio....
FARRRRRTT
Hey, first off we're still waiting for another entry. Bring the level from 4 to five for the year. I sent you a text last night but I am not sure that you are receiving my texts (you should be since I know that you are about as busy as I am right now ...HAHAHAHAHA until jan 5th anyway....my first day back at "woik") so I will put it here your site: The weather is looking interesting for our anticipated trip to GV on Wed. If it is snowing at all over the summit then we will not be making the trek until the following clear weekend. Just thought I'd inform y'all in the event that you arrive and the great one is not there. I will not be sure about whether or not we're leaving until probably the morning of xmas eve and even then prob not until the hour before we are thinking of going. We do have chains etc but it is absolutely silly to get the chains on and risk crasing the family car for something that can easily be postponed.
Did you see "Lawn Cam"? Quite the amazing work of art if I do say so myself. I shall be the talk of the art world because of it. I also set up a little cctv thing over my network with my Dv camcorder so I can be pooping and still able to see what is going on in the house. As you can see I am making the most of my remaining 2 weeks or so of freedom before its back to staring at a pile of dirt, dust and rocks. Forza e Coraggio....
We're still waiting.
We're still waiting. Dammit. Forza e Coraggio....
Ok the world is once again
Ok the world is once again bored with your entry. Try again!!!Forza e Coraggio....
Idea...
I just had an idea. Me, you and nine friends should pile in the car and take a road trip down to Mexico. It'll be nice. We could get the chance to tour southern CA and AZ. Maybe even southern NV on the way back! I am not sure if my car will be up to the challenge so we may need to procure another vehicle. That shouldn't be a problem. We can pick one up just about anywhere for a steal. I'll contact my coyote and set something up. It'll be fun. Forza e Coraggio....
A day of rememberance....
The flags are now at half mast as the nation reflects upon that terrible tragedy from years past. The event that launched our nation into the bloodiest period in it's history. World War II. It all started today. December 7, 1941....that day was also a sunday . Pearl Harbor Day.
Aww crap. You just told me that ur car was stolen. Im sorry! What a way to ring in your birthday. I guess I can stop my silly little story here then since all hope of u having an enjoyable birthday is gone. Sounds silly, but at least Kat's work is not too far from your apt and life will not be grinding to a halt because of this. If u want, I can travel down there and we can track it down alla big lebowski. We'll find little larry's homework inside and interrogate him. "we're gonna cut ur dick off Larry!" Sorry man! Hope it gets better!
Forza e Coraggio....
It's that time of year again.
On tomorrow's date every year, the nation lowers it's flag to half mast and many take the time to remember the tragedy that took place so many years ago. It came out of nowhere and left many a family devastated and scarred for life. It is not so much a day of celebration but rather of solemn remembrance and reflection. More tomorrow.......
