Everything is amazing, and nobody's happy

I was thinking about this video the other day on the bus. It appears that the bus company has had some problems with a bus or two, so occasionally they will be driving a chartered bus. This happened yesterday and I got really pissed off about the fact that I couldn't get onto the internet on the way home using my laptop. I could still use the internet using my phone, but I wanted to log in to the linux machine at home and do a little work on the scripting project I have going. For the record, I am typing this on the bus right now, so I am happy again.

Work has been going really well for me right now. No news that needs to be posted here for the moment. If you are interested in what I do and how it is going, I have probably already told you, but I am doing some really fun and exciting things that I am very proud to be a part of.

The Wife and I got a babysitter last night and went to go see Bill Cosby in concert. Surprisingly, I had never been to a live comedy show before and this was a great first one to go to. Dr. Cosby was fantastic, he is getting a lot older so he did most of the show sitting on his "HELLO FRIEND" chair (while wearing his "HELLO FRIEND" tshirt) except for when he was actually lying on the floor. The stories were funny, the audience was responsive, and it was just a great way to spend the evening. I do remember though, that about every 20 minutes or so my brain would snap to attention and exclaim "Holy Crap!! That is Dr. Freaking Huxtable!!! I used to watch that guy on TV almost every day." (Edited for content, there are children on these internets) All in all, if you have the chance to see him, don't pass it up. I am sure that you will enjoy it as much as I did.

I finally saw a movie!

For the first time since I went to see that double feature of Shop-a-holic and Mall Cop I went to see a movie last night. I saw "Angels and Demons". I loved it. Even though I am one of the 27 people left in the country who hasn't read the books yet I still thought it was an amazing movie (even more than the first!) It was funny tho since it was based in Rome (where they speak some sort of Mexican I think ;) ) and the Swiss Guard speak Swiss German (oddly enough), I got a few seconds notice as to what would happen in some of the climactic moments as the background conversations and radio traffic from the cops would clue you in a little bit. I thought that was so cool tho as even the background chatter had an amazing amount of detail paid to it. Also loved how the Carabinieri were portrayed in this film. I actually loved this movie even though there wasn't a nipple (of the female variety anyway) in sight.

Man, I'd like to see a Bill

Man, I'd like to see a Bill Cosby show. I have been dying to ask him where I can get one of those fancy, noise making pens that he used to use on his kids show. He's often in the area here but it is one of those things that I never seem to do. I wanna go but don't like the idea of sitting for so long (yet I can watch hours and hours of tv....just not movies or live stuff....go figure)
